Though he wants to draw the ideal bijin-ga, Hayama is a relatively obscure artist who only receives jobs for small illustrations of still lifes. But, one day, the captivating Hanae appears, a crossdressing man unafraid of Hayama's eyes. And, he is the very picture of the "ideal model"...
